NOVA Dynamic Training Group’s Urban Survival & Preparation ("Bug-Out") course equips civilian defenders with the mindset, skills, and practical tools needed to navigate and survive in urban environments during crises—whether due to civil unrest, infrastructure failure, natural disaster, or other emergent threats. Rooted in reality‑based instruction and experiencing the layered construct of urban threat landscapes, participants learn situational awareness, covert movement, resource procurement, emergency medical readiness, and low‑profile preparedness. Our trainers emphasize building the full human asset—mind, body, and energy—to ensure readiness not just to survive, but also to preserve one's dignity, morality, and agency under pressure.

NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
There is no prerequisite for this course, but we do strongly suggest taking NOVA's Baseline Pistol and/or Personal Defense I classes prior to taking this course. Why? The fundamental Situational Awareness, Threat & Risk Assessment and Lawful Use of Force concepts presented in these courses will greatly help and support your uptake and appreciation of the close-quarter self-defense techniques and tactics we discuss in this course.
